"It is difficult for a woman to define her feelings in language which is chiefly made by men to express theirs." - Thomas Hardy

There are times when I do not know how to express what I am feeling, with out making myself feel little or less than or somehow diminished   This quote, to an extent, enlightens me.  I do not think that this lack of expression is due to the creators of the language, but our inability to fully appreciate how much language to do for us in revealing ourselves to us.  Syntax is an amazing thing.  Words powerful.  Back them with feelings - you have the power to change the outcome of history.
